Student Council (StuRa)

The Studierendenrat (StuRa) is the representative body of the students of the TU Ilmenau elected by you. It represents the students vis-à-vis the university, the city, the state and the federal government and communicates with many committees of our university.

Since the work of the StuRa extends over many areas of work, it is also subdivided into various Referate and working groups. You can find an introduction to our student committees and their members on our website.

If you have questions about studying and campus life or would like to contribute ideas, we would be happy to hear from you personally or by email.
