2.04 Student representation

Overview of the committees at TU Ilmenau

Studierendenrat (StuRa)

The Studierendenrat (StuRa) is your elected representative body for students at TU Ilmenau. It represents the students vis-à-vis the university, the city, the state and the federal government and communicates with many committees of our university.

As the work of the StuRa covers many areas, it is also subdivided into various Referate and working groups. You can find an introduction to our student committees and their members on our website.

If you have any questions about studying and campus life or would like to contribute ideas, please contact us in person or by email.

Fachschaftsrat (FSR)

Each of the five faculties at TU Ilmenau has a Student Representative Council (FSR), which represents the interests of the students vis-à-vis the faculty. We are the student council for the Faculty of Computer Science and Automation. In addition to the eight students elected for one year, the FSR consists of many other active members.

You can also visit us at a meeting at any time and become an active member yourself or stand for the next election. Don't worry, we don't bite and always welcome all guests :)

Tasks

  • Representing the students of the faculty
  • Individual counselling and support for your questions and problems
