3.06 Internships
Grundpraktikum
You can complete the basic internship either before your studies or during the semester break. During a period of at least 6 weeks you should get to know the working procedures and the organisational and social processes in companies. It is also possible to divide the basic internship into two different companies, each lasting 3 weeks.
Through the internship, you will ideally gain insights into the basic work processes, production of connections, surface treatment and production of components or assemblies. If you are studying biomedical technology, you can also gain basic knowledge about the activities and functions of the health care system and medical technology departments in hospitals during the basic internship.
In order to receive credit for your internship, you must write a short report (one page per week) at the end of the internship and submit it to the examination office together with your internship certificate.
Fachpraktikum
The internship is usually completed in the last semester of the Bachelor's degree (BMT, TKS) or optionally in the Master's degree (IN, II). The internship is intended to introduce students to professional activities in the subject areas of their respective field of study.
Elektronik
AET
The electrical engineering practicals take place as scheduled in the 2nd and 3rd semesters. Each test lasts approximately 3 hours (plus preparation and follow-up).
You need a certificate card for the internships, which you will receive after attending an introductory event for the AET internship. The introductory event takes place during the AET-1 lecture in the first semester.
Your grades will be entered on the certificate card. For this reason, you should not lose it, as otherwise you will have to have your grades re-entered, which can involve a lot of effort.
NI
The practical course Neuroinformatics consists of several subtasks in the form of Python applets.
Physik
The physics practicals take place as scheduled in the 2nd and 3rd semesters. Each experiment lasts about 3 hours (plus preparation and follow-up).
You need a certificate card for the practicals, which you can buy in the UniCopy can buy. Your grades are entered on this card. For this reason, you should not lose it, as otherwise you will have to have your grades entered again, which can be a lot of work.
TI (RO, RA)
The practical course in Computer Engineering consists of the practical courses of the modules Computer Organisation (RO) and Computer Architectures (RA).
For the internships, you need a certificate card, which you can print out yourself. Your grades are entered on this card. For this reason, you should not lose it, as otherwise you will have to have your grades added, which can be a lot of work.
